Our Story

Boulder United FC started as a pickup group, known as the Boulder Collective, a bunch of guys with a passion for soccer who simply wanted to get together and enjoy the beautiful game. As our collective grew, we decided to start an indoor team and enjoy the wonderful facilities in town at Boulder Indoor Soccer.

We found a fair amount of success playing together indoor and realized that we had a quality group of committed players that we could continue to build with. We decided to officially create an outdoor team, with the goal of representing top quality soccer in Boulder, and join the Boulder League played at the Pleasant View Soccer Complex.

After a few seasons there, we recognized our potential and desire to compete at the highest levels around. The time came for us to level up, joining the top leagues in the state, the Colorado Super League and now the Colorado Premier League. Winning the second division in our first season, we have now become one of the top teams in the league, consistently making the playoffs and competing for the title. While we have not yet won the top league, we continue to add quality to our team and our coaching staff, bringing us closer and closer to our goal of becoming the best team in the state and paving the way to joining the growing semi-professional landscape around the country.

Off the field, we take our volunteer activities very seriously and passionately, aiming to make a difference in the community in our local neighborhoods and in towns and cities we are connected to around the world. Through the beautiful game, we can promote integrity, pride, passion and commitment to improving the lives of the less fortunate in our communities.
